ALF Comeback Marathon Set for This Week Thanks to Ryan Reynolds’ Maximum Effort

ALF sets its return to TV thanks in large part to Ryan Reynolds and George Dewey-owned production company Maximum Effort.

The Canadian-American actor and producer will revive the classic sitcom, which ran onfrom 1986 to 1990. Airing under the channel’s “Maximum Moments” series, the all-day marathon will include episodes of the sitcom. This coincides with the release of Podcats: The Pawdcast — a Maximum Effort original following three cats as “expurrts” running down “impurrtant events.”

“At Maximum Effort, we love taking risks and blurring the lines between shows and sponsorship because we believe both can be equally entertaining,” said Reynolds.

Witness the creature wreak havoc on Earth when ALF premieres on The Maximum Effort Channel on Saturday, July 29.
