This Morning's Alison Hammond has addressed losing out to Ant & Dec at the NTAs for the Best Presenter award, as she spoke about 'failing' in an emotional Instagram post
The 48 year old This Morning presenter was nominated for the award, however, she ended up losing out to longtime winners, Ant & Dec at last night's show, Tuesday, 5 September.
Alison captioned the post: "What a night of happiness at the @officialntas with @thismorning , we had the best time. Thanks so much for all your love support and votes and allowing us to be there. I’ll be honest it was so nice watching the whole show with @joeldommett in our seats. Viewers watching the NTAs at home were left less than impressed by Ant and Dec's win however, with many saying it's "ridiculous" for the pair to win 22 times, and it's time for a new presenter to take home the award.
Meanwhile, This Morning was dealt a huge blow as it lost out on the Best Daytime Show award, for the first time in 13 years, after a tumultuous few months for the show.
