Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The Star Wars sequel trilogy introduced viewers to a wide range of skilled heroes and dangerous villains, and here are how the main characters rank in terms of threat level. Set 30 years after Return of the Jedi, Star Wars: The Force Awakens introduced viewers to a galaxy where an old evil had returned. The First Order threatened to conquer the galaxy, restoring something very similar to Palpatine's Empire.
8 Rose Tico The Resistance's Smart Mechanic Close Rose Tico was introduced in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and accompanied Finn on his journey to infiltrate the First Order's mega-class star destroyer – where Snoke resides. This was a very secretive mission, in order to disable the First Order's hyperspace tracking unit and allow the Resistance to escape, so the combat here was very minor.
Cast Oscar Isaac First Appearance Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens Alliance Resistance TV Shows Star Wars: Resistance Poe's main journey across the sequels is learning about responsibility and how to lead a movement, something he struggles with very much in The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. He's a capable strategist and leader, and he shows the abiity to fight in ground combat when infiltrating a First Order Star Destroyer above Kijimi.
Force-Sensitive Former Stormtrooper Finn Brainwashed as a stormtrooper for the First Order, Finn was able to resist his conditioning - likely due to his Force-sensitivity. Initially unwilling to ally with the Resistance, he nonetheless eventually chose to side with them, and became a good friend to both Rey and Poe Dameron. Finn led a squad of ex-stormtroopers during the fateful Battle of Exegol, a conflict that saw him finally embrace the Force.
3 Supreme Leader Snoke Palpatine's Puppet In The First Order Close A genetically-engineered being created as a result of Palpatine's cloning experiments, Supreme Leader Snoke became the Emperor's unwitting puppet. Powerful in the Force, Snoke was used to lead the First Order to victory - and it's telling that even the destruction of Starkiller Base didn't prevent his forces conquering the galaxy for a year. Snoke was only killed through Kylo Ren's treachery.
