A certain team has done from 'good' to 'great' with high expectations

Chris Nalwasky | NJ Advance Media for NJ.com

When it comes to tennis, players transferring schools is an uncommon sight compared to other sports like football and basketball. So when a big-time player switches teams, it’s extremely notable. Sophomore Jordan Lee is now playing for and attending Ridge after being at Holmdel as a freshman. With the Hornets, she was an All-Group 2 First Team selection as she registered 14 wins in dual matches while helping them win the Central Jersey, Group 2 crown, the overall Group 2 championship, and their division in the Shore Conference. Lee also reached the fourth round of the state singles tournament last fall and made the Monmouth County Tournament finals at first singles.
