American Allyson Felix finished third in the women’s 400 meters at the Tokyo Olympics on Friday in what might have been the final individual race of her storied career.
The Bahamas’ Shaunae Bah Miller-Uibo won the race in 48.36 seconds and the Dominican Republic’s Marileidy Dom Paulino was second at 49.20. Felix finished in 49.46 seconds. It’s Felix’s 10 Olympic medal, tying her with Carl Lewis for the most U.S. track and field medals in Olympic history.
