There will be a mix of flats and houses 🏘
permission has been granted to AS Homes Ltd for a residential development on the corner of Myreside Street and Rigby Street.
The site, most recently used by steel plate traders Brown McFarlane and previously a munitions factory, is set to be redeveloped to provide 128 homes. There will be a mix of flats and houses.Plans stated 151 parking spaces will be provided as part of the development, as well as covered bike storage. A previous application for 158 homes on the site was approved in 2009, however, the new proposal stated it would no longer be “feasible or acceptable” if submitted now.
