Chris Hughes reportedly quit as a director at Phillip Schofield's former talent agency YMU only weeks before the bombshell news
Amanda Holden's husband Chris Hughes has stepped down as the director of the talent agency which represents her and ITV colleague Simon Cowell.YMU sacked the former 61-year-old This Morning presenter Phil following the bombshell announcement he was having an affair with a younger male colleague and had lied about it to his bosses, co-stars and friends.
Chris, 69, is reportedly one of ten directors who have quit the company in the last three years according to the MailOnline who report he quit on April 18, just weeks before Phillip Schofield was cast aside. Mirror Online have approached YMU for comment. "She has a faulty edit button and she forgets she's on the telly, which is enormously endearing and funny, but occasionally quite scary."
MailOnline have also claimed the company have now appointed the consultants AlixPartners to perform an independent business review. Company boss Mary Bekhait reportedly sent an email to staff earlier this month citing "economic conditions" as the reason.
