Coronation celebrations in Nottingham today
Celebrations for the King’s Coronation took place at Nottingham Castle on Saturday, May 6, as a special viewing of the royal event was shown.
The atmosphere was full of ‘buzz’ and ‘excitement as people laid down their picnic blankets and set up their camping chairs to sit and watch the coronation. Married couple Martin and Angela Crotty from Carlton, were both dressed up for the occasion in red, white and blue.
