Hundreds of Amazon employees sign petition urging executives to publicly denounce Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade and stop funding anti-abortion politicians

The Amazon employees are asking the company to go further and"use Amazon's voice to publicly and unequivocally denounce this decision," organize company-sponsored protests and donate and match employees' donations to bail and abortion funds.
Workers are also asking the company to revisit donations to groups and politicians that oppose abortion access, and to immediately cease all further donations to anti-abortion politicians. Since 2016, the company has donated $974,718 to anti-abortion political committees like the Republican Attorneys General and the Republican State Leadership Committee, according to theEmployees at big tech companies have in recent years taken part in a wave of activism against their employers.
