American Dream water park will reopen Saturday after fallen decoration injured 4
and injured four people, mall officials announced Friday afternoon.
“American Dream is pleased to announce the DreamWorks Water Park will reopen on Saturday, February 25th, having met all safety regulations and requirements following a rigorous investigation and review conducted with the State, County Department of Health, and independent engineering consultants,” a mall spokeswoman said in a statement.
“We are excited to welcome guests back to the water park and look forward to seeing visitors enjoying the facility this weekend,” she said.at the American Dream complex and hasn’t been open since. One person was hospitalized while three others were treated at the park and then left. The state Department of Community Affairs, which oversees amusement parks in the state, had declared the building an “unsafe structure” earlier in the week and said its Amusement Ride Safety Unit has also issued an “order to cease operations.”
