Singer Kellie Pickler's husband Kyle Jacobs has died by suicide at the couple's Nashville home, police in the area have confirmed.
The singer and her assistant then contacted emergency services after they were unable to open a locked bedroom door. Celebrating the career high, he had posted about the album on Instagram, writing: "Platinum?! SWEEEET!!! An amazing crew of incredibly talented peeps put this one together…Deeply honored to be a creative part of it…Thank you Jesus!!! @leebrice @curbwordmusicpub @curbrecords #countrymusic."
Fans of both Kellie and Kyle have also begun sharing tributes, with one writing: "Kellie Pickler has already endured so much in her life - I am so saddened to hear about the suicide of her husband #KyleJacobs. I hope he is now at peace & she is able to seek comfort from family & friends amidst this terrible tragedy."
