Eric Boutin-Bloomerg, from Houston, Texas, spent two months travelling the UK and documented the entire journey on social media to his 11k followers.
The 29-year-old PHD student has now confirmed he believes the best place in Britain is Glasgow for its 'energy and people'.and can’t stop thinking about his meal at Mother India, which was “amazing”.Eric said: “There is just something about Glasgow I can't put my finger on it but there's just a feeling and energy that I just love.
“It's a complex place, it isn't something you can figure out in a weekend or visit once and have your fill. “I absolutely loved my time in London, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, and Inverness. I could live in all these places, they are all so great, but I think my favourite had to be Glasgow. “I tried more restaurants, met more locals, and did more things so of course it has a very fond place in my heart.“I have never been embraced and treated so kindly as I was in Glasgow, there were so many things to like here.class, the architecture is amazing, the museums are incredible, and the food is incredible.
