Angela Clay and Kim Walz are vying for votes for the city council seat in Chicago's most diverse ward."We ran four years ago and came within 300 votes, now four years later we are in a top spot," she said."I think the city has been moving in the wrong direction and I want to get us on the right path," Walz said.
"I'm committed to the community of this ward, we have seen big money and outside corporations spend over $250,000 trying to have a seat at the table," Clay said. Clay is back by the Chicago Teachers Union and the Democratic Socialists of America. Walz is endorsed by Governor JB Pritzker, Senator Dick Durbin and other elected officials.

Hard cleanup: Montana train derailment spills beer and clayCrews could face a difficult task cleaning up a 25-car train derailment in western Montana that spilled numerous cases of beer as well as powdered clay beside a scenic river. Authorities say the derailment happened Sunday in a hard-to-reach spot beside the Clark Fork River. Some of the cars derailed in a tunnel with very little clearance. Montana Rail Link spokesperson Andy Garland says the only access is by traveling on the blocked train tracks or taking a boat across the river. Numerous cases of beer spilled on the river bank and a tanker car carrying butane ended up on its side, but did not leak. No injuries were reported.
