“Hopefully it’s just going to be minimal time,” Maddon said. “It didn’t indicate to me conversationally it’s going to be more than that, but you never know.” Adell was on the Opening Day roster, but he was sent down a month into the season because he was hitting .215 with a .627 OPS, and also struggling in the outfield.
