Heard on the Street: Releasing a hit game while everyone is stuck at home is paying dividends for Nintendo
The company reported better-than-expected results for the fiscal year ended March as its game business was buoyed by the coronavirus lockdown.
“Animal Crossing: New Horizons,” launched in late March, was an instant success: it sold 13.4 million copies in the first six weeks in its major markets, making it the best start for a game on the Switch console.
