The Idea of You trailer is set to stream on Amazon Prime streams May 2nd. The romantic comedy stars Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine who meet through a chance encounter at Coachella.
Anne Hathaway revealed she had to kiss multiple actors during castings at the beginning of her career, which is something she said she is happy she doesn't have to do anymore.
'Back in the 2000s — and this did happen to me — it was considered normal to ask an actor to make out with other actors to test for chemistry,' she explained before adding that was 'the worst way to do it.' However, because she was in the early stages in her career and she was afraid of being labeled as 'difficult,' she said she decided to deal with it and pretend she was excited about it.
'I remember laughing when Nick walked in because he was so ridiculously perfect for the part,' she recalled. 'I just thought,"He is it."'
