School districts throughout New Jersey are currently weighing whether to continue requiring face masks indoors after the state lifts its mandate. Students in the Camden City School District will be among those who must still wear masks beyond March 7 when the state will“For our students and staff at , we will continue to wear masks at this time. We are glad that the COVID numbers are decreasing in New Jersey, however, we want to make sure our young people continue to be safe while in our care,” Superintendent Katrina McCombs said in a statement.
Valerie Merritt, school district spokeswoman, confirmed the Camden district of more than 6,000 students will require students and staff to wear masks after the state mandate ends. Masks must also continue to be worn by guests while indoors, according to the
