For what it's worth, considering how much more complicated the Multiverse Saga is compared to the Infinity Saga, Marvel Studios needs more time to lay the foundations of its culmination. Not every upcoming project deals heavily with the concept of the multiverse, so it's understandable that they would be inclined to tackle it heavily in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Overall, it does sound like Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is a good start to MCU's Phase 5. Despite some criticisms, it seems like it's a solid addition to the franchise. No matter how it ends, it's going to pave the way for what comes next in the Multiverse Saga, not just for Kang the Conqueror but for Team Ant-Man as well.
