Refusing to settle for jumpers, Davis took 23 of 25 shots from inside the paint. He went 15-for-25 from the floor and made all seven of his free throws. He also helped contain Kevin Durant. "That's been the plan," said Darvin Ham, the Lakers’ first-year head coach,"and just trying to figure out how to give him more touches, get him more in the rhythm, especially with LeBron not being out there."
Ham compared what he wants from Davis to what he’s getting from Russell Westbrook, who's gone from starter to sixth man.
