Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a report of an assault on a teenager over the weekend
.Detective Sergeant Westbury said: "It was reported that an 18-year-old man was assaulted outside a licenced premise at around 1am this morning, Sunday January 8."The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition at this time.
"Our enquiries are ongoing to establish exactly what happened but I know there was a large number of people in the area at that time and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the assault, or have any information to come forward. "I am also appealing to anyone with mobile phone or dash-cam footage that could help with enquiries to contact police on 101 quoting reference 326 of 08/01/23.
