In the comics, Black Manta kidnaps Arthur's son and suffocates him to death. The villain puts Arthur Curry Jr. in an invention that looks like a sphere, which Black Manta slowly fills with air. As the Aquababy can't breathe out of the water, the Prince of Atlantis ends up dying.
Aquaman 2's Aquababy Death Theory Makes The Flash's Credits Way Weirder The Flash's post-credits scene featured Barry Allen taking a drunk Arthur Curry out of a bar. Arthur makes some confused remarks to Barry after he tells him that Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne was changed for George Clooney's thanks to him messing with the multiverse. Aquaman then falls into a puddle and just sleeps there.
