Some areas affected by tornadoes last Saturday are at risk of being hit again today
A storm system pushing its way from the Texas panhandle east to Louisiana Thursday, is expected to bring an increased threat of tornadoes, according to CNN meteorologist Michael Guy."The greatest threat for tornadoes will be along the Gulf Coast states of Mississippi and Alabama from Jackson, Mississippi towards Montgomery, Alabama, south to the coast including parts of the Florida Panhandle from Panama City to Pensacola," Guy said.'use strict';CNN.Videx=CNN.Videx || {};CNN.

Four people died in Texas, two in Louisiana, one in Mississippi and another in Alabama.Louisiana and Mississippi will be at risk again Thursday morning, with the storms moving into Alabama on Thursday evening through the overnight hours.
The coastal Carolinas and southeastern Virginia have the greatest potential for severe weather. That zone has been declared at"enhanced risk" by the Storm Prediction Center.Overall conditions within the broad system should allow for a few individual storms to intensify. Damaging winds and tornadoes will be possible, especially within the"enhanced risk" area.
