Argos has officially launched its new 2023 Christmas ad, featuring TV toy favourites Connie and Trevor. The ad is a modern take on the 'toys come to life' narrative and showcases Argos's brand platform. Connie, a Designafriend doll, and Trevor, a Chad Valley dinosaur, will return for the festive ad, with Connie dancing across a table on Christmas Eve. The 30-second TV ad will launch on November 1st.

The tale, a modern day take on the classic ‘toys come to life’ narrative, builds on Argos’s brand platform - ‘There’s More To Argos’ - which launched earlier this year. , Connie is a Designafriend doll and Trevor is a Chad Valley dinosaur. Now, the pair will return for the festive ad. The clip will show Connie on an epic dance across a table on Christmas Eve as she struggles to contain her excitement in anticipation of the big day. Trevor will direct Connie who emerges from the shadows to unveil herself wearing a dazzling pink Christmas jumpsuit.Developed by The&Partnership, the film was directed by Traktor and animated by Untold, with the characters voiced by People Just Do Nothing’s Ruth Bratt and This Country’s Charlie Cooper.
