In the interview, Ariana touched on everything from her musical inspirations and influences to her love for *NSYNC, as well as what she's doing to stay inspired during quarantine — including recording. "We wanted to put music out because music makes people feel good," she said of her duet with Justin. "It's the thing that speaks most to people's spirits and we wanted to lift them."Ariana and Zane also took time to talk about Mac and his passion for music.
Ariana believes Mac's life and legacy will live on through his music, and she took a moment to play two of his songs, "Blue World" and "What's the Use?," during her chat with Zane. "I think that is so evident in what he has left us with and just how many incredible and different bodies of work," she reflected.
