Trump’s crime attacks on Biden are seen as “far from reality” by a politically diverse NPR/Marist focus group of Phoenix-area voters. They also were unimpressed with the president's performance on the pandemic and race relations.

And she still gives Trump credit on the economy:"People don't like him. But I think he's a good businessman."

But she feels differently about Biden."I like Biden clearly," she said."I think Biden is a more reasonable person [than Trump]. I think he's a more non-reactive person, like, Trump is so reactive, it's scary, right? He just reacts rather than thinking about it."and is still potentially open to voting for Trump if voting for Biden would be too"disruptive."

He works as a cashier and noted that his place of work had only taken recent action to install protective gear, which he said was too late. "The leadership in our state," he said,"they're having to play catch up a lot."
