The special is part of a celebration for National Pit Bull Awareness Month."Pit Bull Terriers and Pit Bull mixes are some of the most at-risk pets in shelters throughout the country as it tends to take longer for them to get adopted than other breeds," AHS said in a news release.The humane society said by giving a home to a pet you are helping save other pets.
"Adopting from AHS helps save not just the life of that pet but also allows space for even more, sick, injured and abused pets to be cared for," according to the humane society. AZ Humane is also in need of people to foster pets waiting for adoption.
