Former Northern Ireland First Minister Arlene Foster has officially received her damehood at Windsor Castle.Queen's Jubilee Birthday Honours list in June.Dame Arlene said she was thrilled to receive the award from "a wonderful role model for females in public life".
Dame Arlene represented the constituency of Fermanagh and South Tyrone in the Northern Ireland Assembly for 18 years. She became DUP leader in December 2015 and, the following month, was appointed first minster, the first woman to hold the role.
