As one travels south, power outages and rainfall grow more scarce. An outage in Montour Township, caused by tree limbs on wires, will be fixed by 12:30 a.m. Another outage caused by weather in Harrisburg’s Allison Hill affects 85 households and is estimated to be repaired by 11 p.m. Meanwhile, wind speeds from State College to Lancaster reached around 60 miles per hour, according to Aaron Tyburski, a forecaster with the National Weather Service .State College and Lewistown received around 9/10 of an inch of rain, Tyburski said. There was around a 3/4 of an inch in Harrisburg and a quarter to a third of an inch of rain around Lancaster.
As for the weekend, Friday is forecast to be breezy with highs struggling to get into the 50s. There is a slight chance of showers.Overall, next week looks to be seasonal with showers forecast Tuesday night into Thursday.Showers likely, mainly before midnight.
