Former Browns owner Art Modell is a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the coach/contributor category.
CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced 12 finalists in the coach/contributor category for the Class of 2023 on Wednesday, three of whom have Browns connections.
Former Browns owner Art Modell, former president Mike Holmgren and former player John Wooten were each named finalists. The other finalists in the coach/contributor category are Roone Arledge, Don Coryell, Frank “Bucko” Kilroy, Robert Kraft, Buddy Parker, Dan Reeves, Art Rooney Jr., Mike Shanahan and Clark Shaughnessy.
