The 36-year-old is weighing up his options before making a decision on his club for the campaign ahead.
The 36-year-old - who has the likes of Chelsea, AC Milan, Everton, Portsmouth and Stoke City on his CV - is currently considering his options after playing last season in the English Championship at QPR. They are continuing talks over a potential extended stay but the Bosnian has not shut the door on any opportunities with no decisions yet made.
Brendan Rodgers is in the market for a new No1 after Joe Hart's retirement with a host of names continually linked with the Scottish champions. Begovic is one of the names that has cropped up with talkSPORT Drive host Andy Goldstein directly asking him about his plans for next season and mentioning his links to Celtic.
“In the second half of the season, for us, the team became together really well. Let’s see if we can keep this group of players together, have another run at it next year, see what else is out there and take it from there.” Asked if he would prefer to stay south or the border or play north next term, Begovic continued: “I am not going to answer all those questions. Let’s see what happens. I will listen to different people and obviously see how the market shapes up and take it from there and decide what’s best for me and my family.”
