According to state medical board documents, the board accepted Carlos Domingo’s permanent surrender in a settlement agreement on Feb. 14. Domingo practiced alongside Grawe at her Powell plastic surgery center, Roxy Plastic Surgery.A spokesperson for the state medical board, Jerica Stewart, said the settlement agreement between the board and licensee addresses the practitioner’s violation of the laws and regulations enforced by the Medical Board.
Stewart said by giving up his medical license, Domingo would be able to avoid having to go through a disciplinary hearing like"The practitioner agrees to the terms and conditions on their license included in the agreement without participating in an administrative hearing," Steward said. "A permanent surrender ensures a licensee will no longer be permitted to practice medicine in any form or manner in the State of Ohio.
Grawe had her license suspended in November 2022, and several lawsuits had been filed against her. According to medical board documents obtained by WSYX, the State Medical Board of Ohio determined that there was clear and convincing evidence that Grawe had violated sections in the Ohio Revised Code and determined that continued practice presented danger or immediate and serious harm to the public.
Prior to the ruling, Grawe appeared before the state medical board's hearing examiner where she claimed the videos she shared on social media served a purpose of educating and connecting with her patients.
