In 2021, Stankey’s base salary was $2.4 million, unchanged from the previous year. The remainder of his compensation was in stock awards and incentive pay based on targets the company achieved. AT&T reported that his “realized” 2021 compensation was $15.35 million, meaning some of his awards may not vest until a later date.
