All students and employees would be required to wear face masks for 14 days from August 20, college president Dr. Kevin James wrote in a letter that was posted on the institution'sA mask-required sign on the door of a store on September 1, 2023, in New York City. Parties and large student events would be banned from campus during the 2-week period, James said in the letter announcing the end of the mask ruling. Students and employees are also obligated to undergo temperature checks on arrival at the campus and maintain physical distancing, the letter said.
