That Christine Baranski–Meryl Streep collaboration was a special highlight, but what’s been your personal highlight while having a hand in these causes and digital events in this new time? As difficult as these times are, it has been inspiring for me as an audience member and supporter of these causes to see the way people are rallying around them—not just the people who are involved, but the millions of dollars being raised. It’s incredible.
We just continue to band together knowing that it will come back online. That’s the most important thing. It will come back online, and it may be one of the last industries to come back, but itcome back.
Believe me, I get it that there’s an economic stress happening right now and people want to get back to work, but we have to be smart about it. Especially now thatstarting to come up, maybe now people will pay attention and instead of saying, “It’s just the flu,” and, “Let grandma and grandpa die for the economy,” maybe we’ll take it a little more seriously that we’re starting to see children come down with this very strange complication.
