The brothers behind the hugely popular The Pizzaioli takeaway are ready to open their first dine in restaurant
Italian twin brothers Mattia Piane and Jacopo Delle Piane are set to scale up their popular takeaway, The Pizzaioli, by bringing foodies a unique dining experience in the town.
It comes just less than a year since they first swung open their doors to their takeaway on New Bridge Street – just 50m away from the new diner – where they have brought an authentic taste of the eternal city to Ayr. Mattia told Ayrshire Live: “It’s been a great 10 months getting started and introducing our pizzas and The Pizzaioli experience.“We’ve always wanted a restaurant, that has been our dream. When the opportunity came up we just had to go and grab it.
The brothers unveiled their new plans last month with a teasing pic on social media. And their post received a huge backing, with hundreds of punters buzzing over the announcement.“It tells us there is a huge demand for it – people are willing to try our pizzas and want more of them."
