The light aircraft was seen heading in the direction of the flight before it was ordered to cancel its take off immediately by Air Traffic Controllers.
A British Airways pilot had to abandon a landing at Glasgow Airport after a smaller aircraft was spotted "going the wrong way up the runway".
Data gathered on Flightradar24 showed the British Airways airplane heading towards the airport before doing a loop around and returning to the runway, after it was confirmed to be safe.
