The child was rushed to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness by air ambulance.The death is not being treated as suspicious but officers confirmed an investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.The quiet fishermen's village is popular with tourists on the NC500 route.
It's around 60 miles from Inverness on Scotland's North West coast and is the main ferry port for boats to the Isle of Lewis.
