“We would move it with the same security that we apply to pharmaceuticals and electronics and other shipments that may be targeted,” he said. A can of baby formula might cost far less than an iPhone, but experts say food-and-beverage shipments can be easily resold, are hard to trace, and can be held over time and shipped over long distances without spoiling. The products are later consumed, leaving no evidence behind.
