The woman who inspired the character of Martha in Netflix's Baby Reindeer has claimed she has been sent death threats after speaking out about her ordeal in the Daily Record.
The real-life "Martha" from the acclaimed TV show Baby Reindeer has hit back at trolls who have sent her death threats following her revelations in the Daily Record.
"I'm not suicidal. I'm not the type, but I think this would have driven anyone else to suicide. I really do." She expressed her concerns: "I think it's very bad for society. We've already got people threatening to shoot MPs. One was shot. It was bad." However, she urges people to hold back from reaching out to her, saying: "These people need to get a life. They need to do their housework, go and get a degree, get a job."
"I've had to cancel a hospital operation and there have been domestic things I have tried to get done but this takes up so much of my time."
