Bam Margera drops his lawsuit over his firing from ‘Jackass Forever.’
, Margera’s attorney Dennis S. Ellis filed a request to the Los Angeles Superior Court for the lawsuit to be dismissed with prejudice — in other words, it can’t be filed again. Whether or not a settlement was reached between Margera and Paramount is unknown.
Margera claimed he had been coerced by Jonze and Knoxville into signing an agreement that would subject him to several drug and alcohol tests prior to filming . He was fired from the project in April of 2020, after he failed to pass his drug tests during production. However, Margera alleged that the drug he was taking was Adderall, which is used to treat attention deficit disorder .
On the defendants’ side, the attorney stated that while Margera had been compliant with his wellness contract for the first months of filming, he eventually “broke off contact” with his treatment team and began using illicit drugs once more.appear in the film. He’s briefly seen performing a stunt with several other cast members, as well as during archival footage during the movie’s credits. His name is listed among the 49 performers during that credit sequence.
