Long-standing BBC 's Bargain Hunt expert Philip Serrell has been offering his wisdom on antiques for many seasons, endearing himself to both the show's audience and its competing red and blue teams. His health, occasionally a concern for viewers, was reassured again recently by the 70 year old.
Previously in October 2023, Serrell acknowledged his followers' concerns, posting: "Thank you to those that asked nothing major but I am the proud owner of a new hip." Before launching into the world of antiques, Philip began his professional journey in the livestock trade as an auctioneer, before becoming a chartered surveyor in 1988 specialising in antiques.
