The father-daughter duo made a profit of £29, but none of their items made a loss
Bargain Hunt viewers watched two parent and child duos compete against each other for the best bargains in Newark . Whilst the teams are always in it to win it, the blue team, made up of father and daughter sales executive Trevor and student Hannah, said from the start that they wanted to win the golden gavel.
Over the course of the episode, viewers watched as the families tried to find the best deals, whilst also trying to agree on which items would be best to turn a profit. Thankfully each pair had an expert on hand to act as referee and provide guidance on the items, this was Danny Sebastian for the red team and Colin Young for the blue.
Meanwhile, the blue team spent £152 on a set of three bottles, a pestle and mortar and an 18th-century oak blanket chest. As the experts went off to find their bonus items with the remaining cash, presenter Natasha Raskin Sharp learnt more about Sherwood Forest and the Major Oak. Meanwhile, the blues also made a £5 profit on their first item, followed by an impressive profit of £17 for the pestle and mortar. The three bottles were purchased by the duo because of their link to Derbyshire, and these luckily made a £1 profit.
