Students at a Barrhead school won a housebuilder's site naming competition for its new development across the school grounds.
Alan Boyle, Teacher at St Luke's High School, Richard Albin and Andrew Jameson, winners of development naming competition, and Hannah Ireland, Marketing Manager at Cala Homes PUPILS at a Barrhead school won a housebuilder's site naming competition for its new development.
More than 40 S3 students from St Luke's were involved in the competition, with a focus on drawing inspiration from Barrhead’sThe development will comprise 346 homes, from two-bedroom starter homes to five-bedroom villas, in addition to a neighbourhood retail facility serving both its residents and the wider local community.
"We’re really looking forward to building on our relationship with the school as we bring Aurs Meadows out of the ground and deliver much-needed new homes for the local region."
