“Police located both Hobson and the 2021 Toyota Tacoma he and his wife, 53-year-old Anu Anand Hobson, were reported to be traveling in,” officials advised in a press statement. “Anu has not been found and, based on evidence collected thus far, police believe she has been killed.”No further details were released “to preserve the integrity of the ongoing investigation,” officials explained.
Gregory Hobson was booked into Solano County Jail on suspicion of murder just after 2:30 a.m. Friday. He is being held without bail, with his arraignment set for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Solano County Superior Court in Fairfield. Police ask that anyone with information about Gregory or Anu or who may have seen “any suspicious activity involving a 2021 Toyota Tacoma, license plate 21170G3,” call the Fairfield Police Department’s Investigations Unit at 428-7600.
