Cooling centers to be available in Santa Clara, Contra Costa counties

Mayfair Community Center, 2039 Kammerer Ave., San Jose Santa Clara Senior Center, 1303 Fremont Street, Santa Clara Mountain View Community Center, 201 S. Regnstorff Ave., Mountain View

Robert K. Schatz Police Services Fire Administration Building Lobby, 1000 Villa Street, Mountain View In Contra Costa County, there are six main cooling centers. Three are located in the lobbies of social services buildings in Brentwood , Richmond and Pleasant Hill . Face coverings will be required at those locations, county officials said.Brentwood Community Center, 35 Oak Street, Brentwood, Alcosta Senior and Community Center: 9300 Alcosta Boulevard, San Ramon

Alameda and San Mateo counties did not list any available cooling centers. Temperatures in those counties are expected to top out in the upper 80s, because they are closer to the coast, according to the National Weather Service.
