Manchester United could encounter another delay in their pursuit of Matthijs de Ligt after fellow Bayern Munich defender Hiroki Ito suffered a broken foot.
However, getting those proposed deals over the line is, largely, dependent on outgoings. "It's obviously a very bitter blow," said Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl post-match. "We'll give Hiroki the best support so that he's back fully fit on the pitch as soon as possible."
