BBC Breakfast stars Nina Warhurst and Jon Kay paid a touching tribute to their former colleague Dianne Oxberry, who sadly passed away in 2019 after a battle with ovarian cancer
BBC Breakfast's Nina Warhurst and Jon Kay were visibly moved as they honoured a "much loved" colleague.
They announced that the Sunshine Garden, originally designed in her memory at the Tatton Garden show, now resides in a hospice on the Wirral, providing comfort to patients and their families. Back in the studio, Nina and Jon were clearly emotional after revealing the private grounds dedicated to their former weather presenter. Despite the sadness in their voices, they managed to share some warm words about their co-star, reports the Express.
Jon agreed as Nina continued: "Dianne is very much still remembered by all, I still get people stop me in the street about her. That's just the kind of person that she was."
