BBC Breakfast presenter Charlie Stayt was left red-faced as he was called out by his co-host Luxmy Gopal while on air
BBC Breakfast's Charlie Stayt was caught out live on air during Thursday's episode of the show by co-star Luxmy Gopal.
But Luxmy quickly pointed out his prior lapse: "Well, you say that but you asked me to hum it to you earlier because you couldn't remember it." Charlie came back with: "I know but as soon as you hear it, you're taken to the programme." There were amusing moments during the broadcast too, including their conversation about a tree supposedly shaped like an elephant, which neither could discern. Luxmy humorously offered: "Well, it's got a trunk."
Grasping the joke about the elephantine 'trunk', Carol laughed, commenting: "I liked Luxmy's joke about having a trunk!"
