BBC Breakfast viewers were left confused on Wednesday morning as two regular faces were missing from the show, with Jon Kay and Nina Warhurst stepping in.
On Wednesday's episode of the BBC 's flagship morning programme, regulars Carol Kirkwood and Sally Nugent were conspicuously missing.
As they introduced Matt to the show, Nina began by saying: "We've got Matt Taylor today.", reports the Express. Jon quickly added: "What more do we need? Morning Matt." The TV personality took to social media to update his followers, announcing that they would be seeing a lot more of him on the Breakfast show.
Elsewhere, Carol has made an exciting career announcement away from her usual BBC Breakfast role. The veteran broadcaster has shared that she has released her fourth novel, titled 'Once Upon a Time in Venice'.
