Gladiators fans were in for a treat at The Trafford Centre on Saturday
The BBC's Gladiators stars ran the gauntlet of an army of fans in Manchester - with a full day's appearance at theHuge queues of families headed to meet and chat with the muscle-bound"superhumans" from the series who take on contenders in a range of physical battles in the TV show.
Dynamite, real name Emily Steel, from Hale, was loving being back on home turf for the event. She is the youngest of the Gladiators and is currently studying sports science at Loughborough University in between her Gladiators commitments. Bionic, real name Matty Campbell, was very impressed with the huge amount of fans who came out. He said:"It's crazy, I can't believe how wild the kids are going, it's lovely. You've got the new generation who now love it as well as the older fans who saw it first time around who are loving it as we've not changed it too much."
He said:"We all train in different ways, I concentrate on one body part, so I do a chest day, shoulder day, back day and so on, but rest is important as well.
